Signing up for a summer Trip?
Here's what you need to do:
- Deposit Check Made out to Christ Episcopal Church (Be Sure to specify what trip in the memo section)
- Health & Liability Information Form Filled Out.
- Copy of Health Insurance Cards.
- International Permission Form Signed and Notarized (Taize Trip Only).
Taize, France
Rising 12th & College Bound Students
June 18th- 28th 2010
Cost: $1000
Registration Deadline: Deposit of $200 by March 8, 2010

A stay at Taizé is an opportunity to seek communion with God in prayer, singing, silence and reflection. It can be possible to rediscover an inner peace, a meaning to life and a new impetus. Experiencing a simple life shared with others reminds us that daily life is the place where Christ is waiting for us. Some young people are looking for ways of following Christ with their whole lives. A stay in Taizé can help discern this call.

- We will be going with Youth Groups from Palms Presbyterian Chruch and San Jose Episcopal Church.

Youthworks Mission Trip: Atlanta, GA
Rising 9th, 10th, & 11th Grade Students
July 4th – July 10th 2010

:As the capital of Georgia and one of the largest cities in the United States, Atlanta offers non-stop excitement. Beautiful gardens, historical museums and several professional sports teams are major attractions. But like many urban areas, poverty and homelessness are far too common. Your group will have many opportunities to serve the city’s homeless population, and facilitate activities for children and the elderly.

- We will be staying an extra day for sightseeing and going to Six Flags.
- There will be two pre-trip meetings for leaders and students going on this mission trip.

Rising 7th & 8th Graders

Nicknamed the “Scenic City,” Chattanooga is a southern gem that offers the best of nature’s beauty and adventure. The beautiful landscape, marked by the Tennessee River and surrounding highlands, offers hang gliding, hiking, mountain biking and more. The city has received national praise for its riverfront redevelopment and its affordable housing program. Your junior-high group can help in the continued revitalization efforts through home repair; and shine the light of Jesus as you visit the elderly and participate in children’s ministries.
