Welcome to Christ Church!
A beacon of hope located in sunny Ponte Vedra Beach, our mission is to transform lives together, through the love of God in Christ. Our love for God and for one another inspires us to come together to build life-changing relationships, in an affirming, loving environment where all are welcome.
Christmas Eve 2021 marked the seventieth year of our life as a church family. As we celebrate this milestone, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve God together today and for generations to come. Whether you’ve been a part of Christ Church from the beginning or have only recently found us, we’re glad you’re here!
IT ALL BEGINS WITH SUNDAY
Our church family comes together in faith to worship in traditional, contemporary, and contemplative ways; in English and Spanish; with beautiful music and powerful preaching. Adults, youth and children serve as lectors, acolytes and choir members.
A strong formation program for all ages provides opportunities to grow in our faith through meaningful Christian education. We welcome guests, and enjoy sharing a meal and fellowship with old and new friends.
WE SERVE GOD EVERY DAY
Our campus buzzes with life throughout the week as well. Our calendar features year-round social and cultural events including musical theatre, dance, and art exhibits.
Our award-winning preschool nurtures children in a loving, Christ centered environment, and we welcome their families into the life of the church.
Small group studies and ministry workshops find ample space for meetings, as do scout troops and other community organizations. We host many 12-step groups, and our recovery ministry lends support and comfort to people dealing with alcohol or substance use disorders.
WE SHARE HIS LOVE EVERYWHERE
Responding to Jesus’s call to feed, clothe and care for those in need, we assist those who serve the most vulnerable in our community, our nation and the world.
Our monthly food-drives generate thousands of pounds of food and supplies for our neighbors in need. Local outreach to a growing list of community partners like BEAM, Mission House, Foster Closet, and Home Again St. Johns includes hands-on service as well as financial assistance.
As we continue to strengthen our connection to local agencies we will identify more opportunities to share God’s love through service.
We are active members of ICARE, a coalition of local congregations working to bring needed changes to our community.
We look beyond our borders to help transform lives, and we are planning mission trips and new opportunities to serve alongside our friends in Bolivia, Cuba, and Uganda as soon as travel can be safely managed.
