The Rev. Meghan Ryan will join us in January.
The Rev. Meghan Ryan is delighted to accept the position of Associate Rector at Christ Church.
Originally hailing from Paducah, Kentucky, she attended Murray State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theatre. She is a 2011 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary, where she served as class vice president and was invited to participate in the Preaching Excellence program. After ordination, she served at churches in the Diocese of Kentucky.
Most recently, Meghan served as the Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Clarksville, TN. During her tenure, Trinity grew in number and in spirit, with a renewed focus on outreach and evangelism. Meghan also served as the board president of a local nonprofit that provides mental health care to veterans and first responders, as well serving as the vice president of the ministerial association for several years. She is also a member of Gathering of Leaders, an organization “committed to connecting young, creative, proven clergy-leaders in the Episcopal church.”
Meghan is married to Michael Francese, an architectural designer and small business owner. They have two daughters, Kenna (7) and Louise (1). Kenna’s interests include Girl Scouts, video games, and learning Spanish. Louise’s interests include opening cabinet doors, naps, and waffles.
