Get Ready for A New Day
with Christ Church Youth Ministry

As another school year approaches, so do opportunities for our youth to connect and grow here at Christ Church. On behalf of Landon and myself, thank you so much to all who made our summer trips, meetings, and get-togethers so special! We could not have done it without the support of our amazing volunteers and chaperones. We spent the summer hanging out at Metro Diner and serving not only in our local community, but also in Charlotte, North Carolina.

If you’re in 6-12th grade and have been unplugged for the summer, now is the perfect time to dive in! Youth and their families are invited to our Fall Youth Kick-Off on August 14 at the Youth House. We’ll have a bonfire, s’mores, and worship together to celebrate the new school year!

Weekly programs start back up on August 18 with a new schedule (check out our social media and website for more information). This year we are going to be exploring a lot of questions. What can we learn about God from our neighbors? What does it mean to live like Christ in our world today? How can we lean on God and our community in times of trouble? We’ll consider all of that and more together as we continue to learn and grow. I hope that you will consider joining us for conversation, fun games, and more at High Tide and Low Tide on Wednesday evenings beginning August 18!

I encourage you to visit our Youth Ministry page and our social media to see our offerings for the youth at Christ Church. Outside of our weekly programs, we plan on serving our local community, sharing meals together, and continuing our walk with Christ’s guidance and love.

No matter who you are, just remember: You belong here!
